Age: 3 1/2 months old today! I know I am terrible at blogging but I want to get some thoughts down so I can remember all of this when the next babe rolls around!

Weight: Last time he was at the doctor he was around 11.9oz so I think he has to be close to 13 if not more!!!

Height: no idea but he is getting big!!!

New developments:  He is basically talking these days- the coos and oohs and ahhs are so freaking cute and joey and I swear we hear him saying mom (although that makes no sense bc I dont even say that to him often). He is much more likely to say Hi or yeah first! But seriously he is SO freaking fun at this age! SOmeone should tell new moms that the first few months are hard because they are so less responsive and then they hit 3 months and they are like really YOUR baby and SO much more fun! He even sat on my lap while steph and i ate at true food the other day!!

Carters favorite things of the week: He is big time into his play mate and his swing, he loves dance parties and my mommy and me group and he is just generally a happy adorable baby. Oh and he is still obsessed with lights and bath time. He loves laying on his mat and having joey and I look down

Carters least favorite things of the week: SMILING! seriously borderline laughing! He smiles at everyone and loves being held these days! Its soo cute! It seems like these last 2 weeks he really has become so much more attached and more like he knows whats going on. Its absolutely adorable!

Smiling? YES! He loves looking at joeys hair like "oh no dont tell me that I have that hair too" and then cracking up smiling and borderline laughing! our son is the best!

Laughing? I have def seen a few episodes of laughs but no full belly laughs yet! Cant wait for those!

First word? We swear we heard him say "mom" "hi" "oh" but i think he is really just exploring his sounds!

Carters global travels:Carter has now been to Hawaii, Northern California, San Francisco and will soon be jet setting off to Vegas and Hawaii again. He is our little world traveler. He is such a champ on the plane and just snoozes and hangs out like he does at home. Everyone asks us if its hard but seriously how loud can a little 3 month old be in comparison to screaming 5 year olds who are throwing crackers at each other?? Although Im sure we'll be there soon too !

Hawaii was a blast and Carter got to hang out on the beach and the pool and barside while his mom and dad had mai tais and relaxed. I really learned how to travel with a baby and while its much different than normal its wayyy more fun to have your son by your side!

 Norcal was great as well, there is literally nothing more touching than seeing all the people you love, love your child. Its a feeling I dont even know how to put into words!  Shawna, his godmother, is absolutely amazing with him and it melts my heart watching the two of them together! There is nothing like having a baby to make you realize how blessed you are to have so many amazing people in your life!

Best moment of the week: Every day with him literally gets better and better. He is grabbing for me now and likes to sit on my  lap while I eat at True Food with steph or anywhere really.. Im really enjoying holding him more and being able to hang out with him more. Waking up Saturday with our family and having our normal little dance party really is the best. Especially since we have been so busy. Soon we are off to Vegas and Joey adn I are just soaking up every moment we can to relax and just hang out with the guy around the house!

LOL moment of the week: Too many. We are constantly laughing at this little guy trying to stand, pooping through his clothes, his perplexed looks and his loud poops during awkward quiet moments like prayer during our life group. He keeps life happy!

How mom and dad are feeling: Absoultely fabulous these days! The first few months really are crazy because your life is completely changing and you are kind of in a haze but now its like I really am adjusting and figuring everything out!!! I am SO BEYOND OVERJOYED by my little munchkin and my family as a whole. Joey and I are having so much fun watching each other be parents and daydreaming about our next kid- thats right folks, we are already excited about the idea of another one. Not yet, but I wouldnt say it will be that long either!!! I also joined a mommy and me group which I absolutely love and all the girls are so much fun and it is amazing having all these girls who have babies around the same age to talk to and get opinions of. I am just feeling over the moon blessed and overwhlemed with how happy and full life has become!!! Anyway, I dont think I'll be pinteresting this much anymore because i really just want it for family and for our own keepsakes and to compare for the next babe. Life is grand!!!
