33 weeks!!

How far along? 33 weeks 5 days! 

Total weight gain: Just keep gaining steadily around a pound a week. Gained a pound and a half last week which I wasnt thrilled about but I guess that just means the little guy is growing!

Maternity clothes? Do oversized dresses count?

Stretch marks? Still not yet, but I am checking for them like a psychopath now.

Sleep:?  Sleeping pretty much the same. Its painful to get up to go to the bathroom now, my lower stomach is achy and hurts and its hard to flip over comfortably anymore. I feel like I have something big attached to my body that is really quite uncomfortable. oh.

Best moment this week:  Another great week! Joey and I are just soaking up all this time together since soon it will no longer be just the 3 of us!! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is so loving, kind, fun and good to me. He truly is my best friend- he listens to me, laughs with me, protects me and knows me like no one else.  We have so much fun just hanging out with each other, its hard to want to leave the house and be productive members of society sometimes. This pregnancy is obv turning me into a HUGE sap.

My mom threw me an absolutely beautiful baby shower on Sunday and we had such a good time! It was absolutely beautiful and at one of my fav spots in Newport. It truly is overwhelming how kind and generous people are and how much love this little guy already has.  I know the presents aren't technically for me but come on, can't Carter share with his momma?

Miss Anything? Not being so tired and lazy all the time. Not having to pee every 2 minutes. Not having to waddle around like disabled penguin. BLOODY MARYS!

Movement:His movements are more like big shifts or stretches at this point and hiccups. He definitely throws out some kicks or punches here and there but he seems to love rolling around and sticking his little foot up in my ribcage. So pleasant.

Food Cravings: Back to Baja Fresh. I could eat True Food for every meal. Anything pumpkin spiced. Pumpkin coffee with obscene amounts of cream and sugar. frozen blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. Apples. Lots of Apples. Tomato Basil Almonds. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: 

Gender: BOY! Boooyaah!

Labor Signs: Negative.

Symptoms: Back pain, bloating, EXHAUSTION, all the super super fun stuff!

Belly Button in or out? pretty out these days, i wouldnt say 100% but close enough!

Wedding rings on or off? ON!!!!

Happy or Moody most of the time: This IS the happiest I have ever been aside from when the daughter in Father of the Bride 2 decides to move to Chicago, someone drinks a bloody mary in front of me, or I find out its the last season of Gossip Girl.

Looking forward to: Having a relaxing weekend with the hubby and the doggy. We need it and we have so few left before the baby gets here!

32 weeks AKA 8 Months of fun!!!

How far along? 32 weeks 4 days! 

Total weight gain: Just keep gaining steadily 1lb a week!

Maternity clothes? Tried on my first maternity dress and it was adorable!!! but too big and they didnt have my size. Might have to look around for it though- J simpson sure does make some decent clothes & shoes! but who would know better what is flattering than the girl who gained 85lbs during her pregnancy.

Stretch marks? No but seriously I am getting SO freaking big, I cant imagine they wont show up. Please let me be wrong!

Sleep:?  I'm needing 12 hours of sleep a night or I feel completely exhausted. Have been known to sneak in a nap or 2 here and there!

Best moment this week:  Well the weather heated back up which I was crabby about but  it seems to be cooling back down. Jeez this has been a loooooooooooong hot summer. Or am I just pregnant?

Anyway, I had such a fun day with Steph  on our normal "date day" eating at true food and shopping around for pregnancy and baby stuff.  She has been so awesome and supportive throughout this whole pregnancy I feel SO lucky to have such a great friend! She also gave us the most ridiculous adorable "little prince" piggy bank that I am OBSESSED with and an adorable chick magnet bib! Painfully cute!

Annnnd Joey finally put together the crib and it looks awesome- now we just have to figure out where everything is going to go and start decorating! Yay!! Cannot describe how truly excited and blessed Joey and I feel! The nursery just makes everything feel even more real and exciting.

Also, got our maternity pictures back and ABSOLUTELY love them! They came out amazing, I could not be happier we did them! It is truly such a special time in our lives and you want to make sure it is documented well!

Miss Anything? Being comfortable. I am officially starting to feel swollen and uncomfortable all the time.

Movement: ALL THE TIME! He moves SO much late at night and early in the morning. This is not a good indicator of a easy schedule for mom and dad once hes born.

Food Cravings: Chipotle. Anything pumpkin spiced. Apple Cinnamon tea with obscene amounts of cream and sugar. frozen blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. Apples. Lots of Apples.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I am officially one of those people who has nausea all throughout their pregnancy. Granted its nothing like it was in the beginning but I have not been able to stop taking my pills at least once a day. what are ya gonna do? Could be worse!

Looking forward to: My mom is throwing me a baby shower this weekend! Cant wait to see everyone and celebrate the little guy! Also, it is my girlfreinds Kristin's bday/halloween party on friday so we are going to head out and turn some heads in my creepy pregnant halloween costume. I am pretty dead against pregnant costumes but it doesnt look like im getting out of this one. wish me luck!

31 Weeks!!!!

How far along? 31 weeks 4 days! 

Total weight gain: Just keep gaining steadily!

Maternity clothes? Do regular clothes in large or extra large count?

Stretch marks? No but if you hear of an insane woman screaming and throwing herself in front of a bus in Laguna Niguel in the next 3 months, they might have possibly shown up.

Sleep:? Not too bad, but the little guy LOVES kicking like crazy while his momma is trying to get some rest. Foreshawdowing of the future? My shoulder and hips are hurting too from sleeping on my left side so much but I keep remembering it gives him the best nutrition and blood/oxygen flow. Plus its supposed to keep MY swelling down. Hard to argue with that!

Best moment this week:  Lots of them! Loving the fall weather we are getting, the rain and the cold nights are awesome for snuggling up on the couch with the husband and pup and some pumpkin spice coffee and talking about how excited we are for little Carter to arrive! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the holidays and I cannot wait for this holiday season especially.  If you know me at all, you know I listen to Christmas music for about 6 months out of the year. Which means Carter will get a good few months of Christmas music via my belly. Yay!

 We also did ANOTHER maternity shoot  that I think went awesome..will post the pics as soon as I get them! But I will post a few of the ones we liked from our last shoot on here today!

But most exciting thing so far this week was our 4d ultrasound! We could see the little guy so well and we were both amazing and borderline giddy watching his little face!! It really made the fact that we are actually going to have a baby all the more real and we truly could not be happier!!!!It was the most crazy experience to know that little guy is inside me and we get to meet him soon! He is even more adorable than I could have possibly imagined! Joey and I could not get over how cute he is and couldnt stop looking at the pictures. We also got a DVD so we can show the family the little guy squirming around. The nurse confirmed that he is head down and that his little bum and legs are up in my ribs which is why I have been so uncomfortable. Oh well, totally worth it! But I have to admit this is the first time I got really scared for labor, realizing that the little guy (who is not actually that little) has to come out is kind of terrifying. 

Lastly, my older brother Nick just moved down to socal!! I am so happy that he is here and that Carter will get to know his Uncle and Godfather even better! Joey and I brought Winston over to play with his two puggles Oscar and Jake and then went down to the penisula to meet up with some friends for a birthday celebration. We had so much fun with everyone and my brother got to meet a bunch of  our friends. Yay for more family in socal!!

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my belly and back. I CANNOT wait to be able to sleep on my belly again. I miss being able to bend over without it hurting and shopping for more than an hour without getting exhausted!

Movement: ALL THE TIME! He is quite the little gymnast in there. Joey and I were sleeping cuddled up together and Joey could literally feel him moving through my stomach on his body. I'm scared for his energy levels.

Food Cravings: Havent had Baja Fresh in over a week! Crazy. Chipotle on the other hand, Ive had twice a day a few times. I like to keep Joey on his toes. I'm also big into Werthers butterscotch candies and these dark chocolate nibs you get from Traders Joes. MMMMMM,

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still a little here and there but nothing too severe.

Gender: BOY! Boooyaah!

Looking forward to: Meeting our little guy!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish it was tomorrow!!!! (well not really because I want him to be healthy but if he could be healthy and come tomorrow, then bring it on!!)
